This a great show for someone who is trying to find modern day philosophy.
One of the characters freak out and drinks half a bottle of vodka. The main character sniffs morphine and smokes molly (or possibly weed?). Use of drugs & alcohol is present and mostly frequent in Season 1.
Porn websites are shown briefly, but nothing too explicit is shown. A pregnant women is seen strapped with S&M gear, homosexual sex is shown with no genitals visible, as well as a lot of implied sex. Sexual content is infrequent and mostly moderate. Sometimes 'b#!ch', and racial slurs are heard, although very infrequent. Use of 'f#!k' and '$h!t' are mostly used. People get beaten up and a few people get their throats slit, surprisingly not as gory as you'd think. Characters get shot, resulting in a large splatter of blood. Violence is fairly infrequent and occasionally bloody. This is a techno-thriller that discusses mental health and the flaws/dangers of living in a world full of tech. Robot depicts a realistic representation of this new world we live in.
